This Saturday evening, I have one of the most anticipated events on my social calendar - my very first Aussie Election party.

After the polls close at 6pm (Eastern Time, I think Western Australia will still be going then) we'll gather together with our beers to see if Australia has a new PM.

So far it's been quite a dynamic campaign and many predict that it will be photo finish between the incumbent John Howard and the opposition leader Kevin Rudd.
